Tegan Bate- - Do You Still Want A Kiss?

Kissing is everywhere; everyone loves to kiss; but does everyone love a mouth full of bacteria and infection? I think not. This work has been inspired by all the awful negativity surrounding the much-loved kiss. I decided to display this awfulness in quite an ironic form, using the visual language of lipstick names. So often lipstick is called things such as ‘brave’ which hardly ties in with the lips so hopefully my work portrays a sense of truthfulness, which is often concealed.
