Adrian Hewlett - They’re Not The Kissing Type

This exhibit explores boundaries between recognisable or established figures, pointing to people who in the real world would almost certainly not display affection towards each other because of contrasting political positions or conflicting views. A kind of forced affection is achieved by physical placement of name panels, the suggestion of kiss is subtle. The type used in this exhibit runs coherent with the names involved throughout the pieces hopefully helping the viewer visualise the two conflicting persons.
